The Course

The golf course at Anniston Country Club is a historic country club layout built within a few city blocks in the heart of downtown Anniston, Alabama. Measuring at just over 6,250 yards from the back tees, most players initially think good scores come easy at this "short course." Many holes are tree lined, but ACC is known for is difficult putting surfaces. The greens are sloped severely from back to front with Champion Bremuda Grass. Local knowldege is a must in order to play this course well but most members will simply tell new players to "stay below the hole."
